Jason LandryJason Landry
Vice President of Sales

To attain the position of US Army Reserves Drill Sergeant, a soldier is held to the highest standards of professionalism and discipline. Jason Landry brings this “best of the best” skill set to F & S Produce.

From 1978 to 1986, Jason was a Store Manager for Compton’s Supermarkets in Yarmouth, Maine. During this tenure, whilst President of the Shopper’s Village Association, Jason was presented with the annual award for best sales growth.

As Director of Produce operations in the Maine division of Supervalu from 1986 to 1998, he was responsible for the overall sales and profit budget. He coordinated and presented several Produce seminars to division accounts, and negotiated several pricing and volume contracts from major vendors. During the merge of the two Supervalu divisions located in Maine, Jason was appointed Chairman of the transition team.

Regional manager for Tanimura & Antle from 1998 to 2004 he established contacts and was responsible for sales in the Northeast Region including Eastern Canada for both Retail & Food service accounts. His efforts attained the company one of their most successful accounts in the Northeast, both for their new Harvest Choice Wrap Lettuce program and for the value added salads being serviced out of the new processing plant located in Canada.

From 2005 to 2010 as Vice President of Sales for Sholl Group II, Jason introduced new Value Added SKU’s that resulted in over a 200% sales growth. He negotiated with a local processor in the Northeast to become a co-packer for the Green Giant value added cut vegetable product line. This account has achieved the highest sales volume consistently each year from the five co-packers.

In 2009 he attended the United Fresh Produce Executive Development program at Cornell University. Developed in partnership with the Cornell University Food Industry Management Program, this is the premier forum for produce industry leaders to sharpen their executive business skills, master the skills to navigate economic challenges and learn effective tools to advance their companies.

Having grown up in Westbrook, Maine, Jason now lives in Yarmouth, Maine. He and his wife Catherine have two sons Scott and Michael. His pastimes include golf, home renovations, working in the yard and enjoying the outdoors.
